A beautiful, gentle loving pup wanting affection from a downs syndrome child and the child had no true interest in the dog. The child just seemed to not want to be interacting with the dog and it seemed the child was not sure of what the pup wanted.
At times in the video the dog appears to sense the innocence of the child and is unsure of how to proceed since his primary means of communication is not understood by the child.
The child continued to back away from the dog, and the dog followed him. The reaction between the child and the animal is quite loving.
There is a difference between a special needs child and an animal, most dogs have a key sense to the innocence.
Animals tend to nurture and accept the difference in these children far better than some humans. To bad some humans can,t react the same way with those who are a bit different.
So what you think of the video, a dog reacting to a child with Down syndrome. Or down syndrome or not, the pup didn't notice a disability and this was a dog just wanting to be pet by someone who didn't want to pet him.
